胡伟
胡伟
1957年生于山东济南。1982年中央美术学院毕业，留校任教。1983年担任叶浅予先生的助手。1985年作品《李大钊、***、萧红》获国际青年年美展金质奖。1987年由国家教委公派赴日，随东京艺术大学校长平山郁夫教授从事中日美术比较与古代绘画保存修复研究。1991年获东京艺术大学美术硕士学位。1995年于联合国教科文组织总部（巴黎）举办“胡伟展”。1996年获东京艺术大学美术博士学位。1997年回母校中央美术学院工作，破格晋升教授，建立并主持“材料与表现工作室”。2010年调任中国美术馆副馆长。
先后主持国家大剧院艺术工程项目，北京奥运会开闭幕式艺术概念设计项目。作为全国艺术科学“十五”计划国家重点课题主持人，完成中国古代壁画保存修复专项。入选由国家七部委联合评定的“新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选”，获北京市教委“北京市高等院校教学名师奖”。独立创作完成财政部、文化部联合实施的“国家重大历史题材美术创作工程”--《***与新青年》。独立创作完成中国文联、财政部、文化部联合实施的“中华文明历史题材美术创作工程”--《张居正改革》。
任全国美术作品展览、全国青年美术作品展览、北京国际美术双年展、中国中青年美术家海外研修工程、中国美术奖·终身成就奖、文化和旅游部（原文化部）美术专业高级职称评委。享受XXX特殊津贴。
现为国家二级教授，博士生导师，中国美术家协会理事、综合材料绘画与美术作品保存修复艺术委员会主任。
Hu Wei
Hu Wei was born in 1957 in Jinan, Shandong Province. He graduated from China Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in 1982, and stayed at school as a teacher afterwards. In 1983, he worked as the assistant of Mr. Ye Qianyu. His artwork, Li Dazhao, Qu Qiubai, Xiao Hong, won the Gold Award of International Youth Exhibition of Fine Arts in 1985. Sponsored by the State Education Commission, he went to Japan in 1987 to work on the researches on the comparison of Chinese and Japanese fine arts and the preservation and restoration of ancient paintings with Professor Hirayama Ikuo, the President of Tokyo University of the Arts. He gained Master's Degree of Fine Arts from Tokyo University of the Arts in 1991. In 1995, the "Hu Wei Exhibition" was held at the UNESCO headquarter (Paris). He received Doctor's Degree of Fine Arts from Tokyo University of the Arts in 1996. In 1997, he went back to work at CAFA, where he was exceptionally promoted to the rank of Professor and established and chaired the "Material and Expression Studio". In 2010, he was transferred to National Art Museum of China to serve as Deputy Director.
He has successively presided over the art project of National Centre for the Performing Arts, art concept design project of the opening and closing ceremonies of Beijing Olympic Games. As the project leader, he completed the special project of preserving and restoring ancient Chinese murals, a state key project in the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" for National Arts and Sciences. Besides, he was honored the "National Candidate for the New Century Hundred Thousand Ten Thousand Talents Project" jointly issued by seven national ministries, and the "Outstanding Teacher Award of Colleges and Universities in Beijing" by Beijing Education Commission. Hu independently created Chen Duxiu and New Youth for the "Art Creation Project on National Major Historical Themes" jointly implemented by Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Culture. He also created Zhang Juzheng's Reform on his own for the "Art Creation Project on Chinese Civilization and Historical Themes" carried out by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Culture.
He serves as a judge in National Fine Arts Exhibition, National Youth Fine Arts Exhibition, Beijing International Art Biennale, Overseas Study Project of Chinese Young and Middle-aged Artists, China Fine Arts Prize · Lifetime Achievement Award, and for the senior title in fine arts of Ministry of Culture. He is also entitled to special government allowance from the State Council.
At present, he is a second-grade Professor, a doctoral supervisor, a council member of China Artists Association, and the Director of Comprehensive Material Painting and Artwork Conservation and Restoration Art Committee.
